You don’t have to drive far outside The Perimeter, or far off of the 75/85 corridor to find yourself in the country. A place where roads and highways are traced on the paths that horses followed a century ago. And those highways and bi-ways wander from town to town, small communities where the Friday nights are more important than any other night and Sundays are for church more than pro football.
These are the towns that are the heart of Georgia. And though you may live in Atlanta, or Buckhead or Sandy Springs, you likely grew up in one of them and check the high school football scores to see how your team did the night before.
Some of these towns are thriving. Many are not.
OUR MISSION
New Country 101.FIVE developed The Your Town Project to shine a light on these communities. We want to celebrate their schools, their churches, their community leaders, their businesses. And in ways small and large, we want to make a difference. Whether it’s helping raise money for new uniforms or cleaning up a park or even building a new playground, New Country 101.FIVE is committed to making a tangible difference in Your Town.
Live Broadcast
Once each month Kincaid and Dallas are broadcasting live from Your Town. We’re finding your favorite coffee shop or breakfast spot and holding a party for you and your friends.
Marketing Grant
And to put or money where our mouth is, we’re making a $30,000 marketing grant each quarter to a small business or charitable organization in one of the communities we visit each quarter.
